About

The Pup Guide exists to make dog ownership a little easier and a lot less stressful. Whether you just brought home your first eight-week-old puppy or you’ve shared your life with dogs for years, our goal is to give you clear, trustworthy answers to the questions that actually come up.

Our mission

There’s a lot of conflicting dog advice online. We cut through it with practical, well-researched guides written in plain language, so you can spend less time second-guessing and more time enjoying your dog.

How we create our content

  • Safety first. For anything health-related, especially “can dogs eat” food questions, we lead with what’s safe, flag what’s genuinely dangerous, and tell you when to call your vet.
  • Vet-informed. Our guidance is grounded in established veterinary and canine-nutrition sources. We’re a content site, not a clinic, so we always encourage you to confirm specifics with your own veterinarian.
  • Honest recommendations. When we suggest a product, it’s because we think it genuinely helps dog owners, never because of a commission.

What we cover
